Dear friend,
We're getting married, and it wouldn't be the same without you. Come for the vows, stay for the dinner, the speeches and a dance or two by the harbour.
With love,Jess & Victor

Our Story
- 2020

The setup
Jess asked Serena if she knew any cute single guys. Serena pulled up a photo of Victor in full rave attire. Jess wasn't convinced: he looked like a bit of an LB, and definitely not someone looking for anything serious.
- Six months later

Fine, swipe right
A bored Jess was on Hinge when Victor's profile popped up. Fine… she swiped right. Their first date at JBBQ in Regent Place flew by, with the conversation (and soju) flowing easily.
- Dates two and three

It just clicked
On date two, Victor patiently taught Jess to drive manual in his car, with plenty of laughs and a few stalls. By date three she was meeting his friends.
- 2020 to 2025
Five years of us
Trips, food, family and a lot of photos along the way.
- 8 May 2025

Under Mt Fuji
The forecast said Mt Fuji would be hidden behind the clouds. Moments before Victor got down on one knee, they parted. In front of the mountain, he asked the love of his life to be his wife.

The big day
We can't wait to celebrate with you.
Who's more likely to be running late?
Probably Jess.
Who's always hungry?
Also Jess. She's always asking for a snack or when dessert is.
Who's the planner and who's the chaos?
We both plan things in ridiculous detail (months of activities, down to the hour), but Victor will throw in something chaotic and spontaneous just to keep Jess on her toes.
Morning person or night owl?
Jess is definitely a morning person, while Victor stays up very late (or maybe he just likes his alone time). Somehow, it works.
The most spontaneous thing we've ever done together?
We decided on the spot to drive two hours out of the city to catch the Aurora.
Where are we going for the honeymoon?
Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Austria, and maybe a bit more of Europe, plus China.
A life goal of ours…
To travel the world together and collect memories along the way :) Then settle down somewhere that feels like home.

Gifts
Your presence is the greatest gift of all. If you wish to honour us with a gift, a red envelope (紅包) toward our future together would be warmly appreciated.
Good to know
Just a quick heads up that this is an invite-only event, so no plus-ones unless specified! If your invite includes a guest, please make sure to add their details when you RSVP.
We are getting married in the middle of a Sydney summer, so expect warm, sunny days and mild evenings. It can get breezy by the water, so a light layer for later in the night is a good idea.
There is metered street parking along Hickson Road, as well as public car parks nearby, including Wilson Bond One. Valet parking is also available at Pier One for a fee. Alternatively, Circular Quay and Wynyard stations are both a short walk away.
A little of both. The ceremony and reception will be held in a marquee, so you get the best of the harbour views while staying sheltered from the sun and any evening breeze.
We're having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones away. Our photographer will capture everything, and you're welcome to snap away at the reception!
Feel free to reach out to Victor (0403 157 878) or Jess (0410 608 299) at any time.
Please let us know in the RSVP form and we'll make sure you're looked after.
Please arrive at 5pm so we can start the ceremony on time.
Enjoy drinks and canapés while we take photos. The reception begins at 7:00pm.
